Services for Jerlean Martin 90 of Tahoka will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Arthur Kelly officiating. The family will recieve family and friends, Sunday from 6 p.m.-8p.m. at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Tahoka. Burial was held in The Nevels Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Jerlean was called to be with the lord on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. She was born on December 7, 1926 to the late Nathaniel and Lillie Catley. 

Jerlean loved to cook for family, she loved to joke around and make ever body laugh at all times. She enjoyed dancing and listening to her blues music. One thing about mama, was that she would give you advice whether you need it or not.  
Survivors include nine sons, Wilbert Martin of Wichita,Kansas J.L. Martin of Kaufman,Texas Tommy Martin of Memphis, Tennessee, Sammy Martin of Tahoka, Donald Martin of Tahoka, Darrell Martin of Lubbock, Raydell Martin of Tahoka, W.J. "Dub" Martin of Tahoka, Lyndell Martin of Havelock, North Carolina, two daughters Jerry Ann Martin of Belton,Texas and Katy of Tahoka, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She is preceeded in death by her daughter, Adell Martin Graves.

Dear Martin Family. No word can express how sorry we the Bryson family are to hear of the loss of your Mom and Grandmother. She was a Strong and Wonderful woman. We grew up next door to Her. Having plenty of Memories to cherish. Like many others who passed before her...... it will be Hard to Drive down North 6th st. in the Flats knowing that She isnt there. During this difficult moment,our thoughts and prayers will always be with you all. We love you.
