Adela Montoya

Adela C Montoya, 85 passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at University Medical Center.  Services for Mrs. Montoya will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Harvest Church with Pastor Bracken Christina officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Adela was born June 6, 1930 in San Antonio to Arturo & Carolina Cuellar.  With a passion for dance, Adela instructed many and inspired others to open their own dance studios in the San Antonio area.  She also enjoyed cooking and loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, David Montoya of Lubbock and Henry Montoya of California; a daughter, Carolyn E. Flores of Lubbock; one brother, Jacob Cuellar of San Antonio; two sisters, Amelia Sanchez and Carmen Martinez both of San Antonio; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren
