Albert Anthony Castro, 24 passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Covenant Medical Center. Services for Mr. Castro will be 10:00 Friday, May 6, 2016 at Highland Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Dominguez officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. Family will hold a celebration of life service, 7:00 tonight may 5, 2016 at Calvillo Funeral Chapel.
Albert was born June 3, 1991 in Lubbock to Albert Castro Jr & Cindy Martinez. He graduated from Idalou High School in 2009 and worked for Wal-Mart in men’s apparel. He enjoyed barbequing, reading, watching movies and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Albert Castro & wife Jessica Castro of Lubbock; his mother Cindy Martinez of Lubbock; two brothers, Joshua Castro, Christian Vela both of Lubbock; one sister, Erin Blanco of Lubbock; grandparents, Becky Castro, Mario & Lucy Davila all of Lubbock; great grandparents, Bobby & Lola Ortiz of Granada, CO
