Albert Guerra Jr.

Albert Guerra Jr., 35, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 in Lubbock.  Services will be 10:00 am, Friday, June 1, 2018 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Brownfield with Father Edward Teo officiating. Burial will follow in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. A rosary will be held 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel in Lubbock.

Albert was born July 25, 1982 in Lubbock to Albert Sr. & Rachel Guerra. He was a catholic. He spent much of his time cooking, playing basketball, listening to music and cutting hair. His greatest joy in life was being a family man and spending time with his children.

He is preceded in death by a brother Luis A. Guerra on October 5, 2013.

He is survived by his loving parents; a son Jaeryan Guerra of Denver City; a daughter Kaelyn Guerra of Denver City; brother Chris (Adriane) Guerra of Lubbock; sisters Amy (J.R.) Avila of Lubbock and Andie Guerra of Denver City; his maternal grandmother Amelia Franco of Brownfield; his paternal grandparents Lupe and Louisa Guerra of Brownfield. As well as a host of nieces and nephews.
