Angelita Hernandez

Angelita "Angie" Hernandez, 54 of Lubbock passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 in Lubbock. Viewing will begin Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. with a prayer service celebrated at 7:00p.m at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Angie's service will be Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

Angie was born August 1, 1960 to John Sr. and Maria Hernandez, she was a life long resident of Lubbock. She had a passion for helping people which she pursued through nursing. She loved cooking, expressing herself through arts and crafts and had a green thumb for keeping plants alive.

Angie was preceded in death by her mother Maria Hernandez.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father John Hernandez, Sr; a son Kaven Martinez of Lubbock; three brothers Peter Hernandez of Odessa, John Hernandez and Felix Hernandez  both of Lubbock; two sisters Linda Sandoval of Houston and Carmen Garcia of Lubbock; an aunt Hortencia Gonzales of Lubbock.
