Catalina De Garza

Visitation for Catalina Tinajero De Garza 84 of Lubbock will be on Tuesday, May 28,2019 from 10 AM till 9PM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 7 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday , May 29, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Patrick"s Catholic Church with Father Joseph Thnadelil officiating.
Burial will be in The Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.
Catalina went to be the the Lord on Thursday, May 23, 2019. She was born on August 10, 1934 in Torreon Choach Mexico to the late Secundino and Maria Loiusa Tinajero.
She married Enrique Z. Garza in 1958 in Rio Grande City, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1974. She was a devoted Catholic, she loved chasing her grandchildren around with the fly swatter. She liked to sew often making her family their clothes. She loved to dance.
survivors include a son Thomas Calzadias of Lubbock, a daughter Maria Inez G. Clarke of Rio grand City, Texas, 24 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
