Corina Lopez

Corina Lopez, 72 passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at University Medical Center.  Services for Ms. Lopez will be 10:00 am Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Martin Pina officiating.  Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. A rosary will be held 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Calvillo Funeral Home.

Corina was born November 29, 1944 in El Salvador to Lazaro & Maria G. Lopez.  She retired from Kiser Permanente after working there for over twenty five years.  She enjoyed listening to classical music, reading, and spending time with family & friends.

She is survived by two sons, Oscar Lopez of CA, Juan Manuel Aldana of CO; two brothers, Martin Lopez of Lubbock, Jose Luis Lopez of Canyon; five sisters, Ernestina Esparza of Houston, Maria Irene Serpas of El Salvador, Mirtala Lopez, Gloria del Carmen Lopez both of Lubbock, Ana Emilia Lopez of IN; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by one sister, Bertha E Uriegas.
