Demetrio Gonzales

Mr. Demetrio Gonzales, 59, of Lubbock departed this life into the hands of our Lord on Monday, December 26, 2022.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Ramirez officiating.  Services were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

Demetrio was born on August 30, 1963, in Three Rivers Texas, to Martin and Macaria Gonzales.  Demetrio was self-employed and had a talent for fixing many things.  He would fix bicycles for anyone in need among other handywork that was needed by anyone.  Demetrio enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was sitting outside drinking coffee, or just playing with his nephews and nieces.  He was a family man and just enjoyed spending time with his family.   Demetrio will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Martin and Macaria Gonzales. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Martin Gonzales Jr., Joe Gonzales, Emilio Gonzales, and Jesse Gonzales; sisters; Enedelia Vasquez, Teresa Gonzales, Otilia Gonzales, and San Juanita Gonzales; numerous nephews and nieces.
