Diamantina "Tina" Martinez

Diamantina “Tina” Martinez ,65, passed away August 17, 2018 in Lubbock.  Services for Ms. Martinez will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, August 30, 2018 at San Ramon Catholic Church with Father Joy Thachil officiating.  Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. A rosary will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation starting at 9:00 am

Tina was born January 14, 1953 in Cotulla, TX to Juaquin and Maria Perez. She married Cosme Martinez Sr., May 16, 1978 in Cotulla and was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a free loving soul who loved life, tattoos and spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Martinez is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cosme Garza Martinez Sr.; a sister, Polly Perez and a brother Juaquin Perez.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Oliver Perez, Cosme Martinez Jr. and wife Cynthia all of Lubbock; two daughters, Sara Martinez, Sonia Martinez both of Lubbock; her boyfriend, Luis Sierra of Lubbock; two brothers, Richard Perez, Doroteo Perez both of Lubbock; four sisters, Mary Jane Hernandez, Diana Rodriguez, Flora Reyes and Molly Melendez all of Lubbock; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
