Emily Pena

Emily Pena, 14 passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Lubbock.  Services for Ms. Pena will be 10:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2017 at The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with Rev. Alan Ehlo officiating.  Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. A rosary will be held 7:00 pm Friday, April 21, 2017 at Broadway Funeral Directors.

Ms. Pena was born October 11, 2002 in Lubbock to Joe & Becky Pena.  A lifelong resident of Lubbock, she was currently attending O.L. Slaton Middle School.  A real girly girl, she enjoyed dressing up, putting on makeup, taking selfies, dancing and hanging out with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing softball listening to music and watching movies.

She is survived by her mother, Becky Garcia of Lubbock; her father, Joe Pena of Oklahoma; three sisters, Thalia Pena, Erin Pena, Britney Pena all of Lubbock; grandparents, Gilbert & Mary Garcia of Lubbock, Paul Pena of Lubbock.
