Felix Perez Sr.

Felix S. Perez Sr., 92 of Lubbock went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 11, 2021. Viewing and visitation will begin Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Second day viewing will begin Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. –8:00p.m., with a rosary beginning at 6:00 pm the same evening. The funeral service will begin 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Phillip Maldonado officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Felix was born March 29, 1929, in Fentress to Margarito and Piedad Perez. He is preceded in death by his wife Francis Perez (January 15, 2010). Felix honorably served his country in the U.S. Army in 1954 while stationed in Korea. He was a farmer most of his life and a very hard worker. Felix enjoyed gardening in his spare time and reportedly had a green thumb for growing just about anything from watermelons, peppers, calabazas, and all sorts of vegetables. He always kept a clean garden and free of any weeds.  Felix will always be remembered as a gift and a great blessing not only just to his family, but to all those who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons Felix Perez Jr. of Lubbock and Ernest Perez of Lubbock.
