Francisca Castillo

Viewing and visitation for Francisca Garcia Castillo, 70, of Lubbock will be from 1:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Calvillo Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be held 6:00 pm Sunday, December 6, 2020 in the Chapel of Calvillo Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m.  Monday, December 7, 2020 at Calvillo Funeral Chapel with Pastor Robert Reyna officiating. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Mrs. Castillo was called to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 1, 2020. She was born on July 12, 1950, in Caldwell Co; Texas to the late Juan and Petra Garcia.  She worked in food service for Lubbock State Supported Living Center for many years. She was a devoted hardworking person for the people living in that community and treated them as her family. She was a Catholic by faith and loved Christmas, watching her tv soap shows, novellas, and traveling with her husband. Most of all, Francisca loved her family, and her memory will always be cherished and remembered.

Survivors include her sons; Jeremy Castillo and wife Claudia Gonzalez of Lubbock, Andrew Garcia and wife Debra; two daughters; Melissa Rivera of Missouri, Jessica Castillo of Lubbock, one brother, Merced Garcia of Lubbock; eighteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother Pedro Martinez; two sisters; Eufemia Flores, Serapia Coleman.

According to local and state guidelines, facemasks will be required at all times during visitation and funeral services. Temperatures will be taken upon entering funeral home
