Freddy Martinez Sr., 38 passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his residence.  Services for Mr. Martinez will be 10:00 am Thursday, December 31, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Jim O’Conner officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.  Family will have a rosary 7:00 pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Calvillo Funeral Chapel.

Freddy was born August 12, 1977 in Lubbock to Antonio Sr. and Martha Martinez. He worked as a custodian for Lubbock Cooper ISD for many years and enjoyed providing for his family.

He is survived by his parents; one son, Freddie Martinez Jr. of Lubbock; one daughter, Ysenia Martinez of Lubbock; three brothers, Antonio Martinez Jr., Magdaleno Martinez, Danny Martinez all of Lubbock, one sister Norma Gonzales of Lubbock.
