Guadalupe Monge

Rosary for Guadalupe Monge, 82 of O’Donnell will be 7:00PM, Friday, March 24, 2017 in Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel of Tahoka.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday, March 25, 2017 in St. Pius X Catholic Church in O’Donnell with Father John Stephens Rathinam officiating. Interment will follow in O’Donnell Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

Lupe passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 she was born January 28, 1935 in Mexico to the late Catarino and Guadalupe Rea. She married Frumencio Monge and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in O’Donnell and enjoyed crocheting, gardening and needlepoint.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Catarino Vargas, San Juan Vargas, Gabriel Vargas, Porfirio Vargas and Vicente Vargas; and grandchildren, David Maldonado, Phlipe Vargas, Gabriel Vargas and two great grandchildren

She is survived by her husband; a son, Raymond Vargas of Lubbock; daughters, Maria Elena Maldonado of Happy, Maria Enedina Benavides and Guadalupe Garcia of Tahoka; one granddaughter, Maria Vargas of O’Donnell; twenty three grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren
