Isabel Ruiz

Rosary for Isabel Ruiz, 102 of Lubbock will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, 7 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 26, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located at 102 N. Ave P in Lubbock with Deacon Santos Chavez officiating.  Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Isabel passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born on October 10, 1915 in Donie, TX to the late Sylverio and Felomena Ruiz. Isabel was a lifelong resident of Lubbock. She was a kind and gentle soul; the matriarch of her family. Her family will always remember how unconditional Isabel’s love was.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Brothers Cesario Ruiz, Pedro Ruiz, Tony Ruiz and Domingo Ruiz; Sisters Josephine Ruiz and Lupe Ruiz.

Survivors include two brothers Johnny Ruiz  and Sylverio Ruiz both of Lubbock.
