Joaquin Mendoza

Joaquin Mendoza Sr. was called home to our Lord on November 20, 2017. He was born on December 21, 1941 in Odom, Texas. Joaquin was a Catholic and devoted family man who loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Joaquin also spent many years in the automotive business and tire service. Joaquin was preceded in death by his wife Maria Barron. Joaquin is survived by two sons; Joaquin Mendoza Jr. of Lubbock; and Carlos Mendoza of Lubbock; one daughter Ana Mendoza of Lubbock; three sisters Mercedes Molina, Joana Beccera, and Clemencia Mendoza all from Laredo, Texas; six grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:00a.m. Friday November 24, 2017 at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Rev. Alan Ehlo officiating. Services are under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.
