Joshua Clewis

Visitation for Joshua Deon Clewis, 38 of Lubbock will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 pm the same day, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Lubbock. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Jay Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Mr. Clewis was called to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born on October 24, 1983, in Lubbock to Jimmy and Lois Clewis. Later in life he married Natasha Almager treasuring 21 years of marriage. Joshua was a very hard worker and lately worked a couple of months for 84 Lumber Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking seafood, watching wrestling specifically “The Undertaker” and football, he was an avid fan of Tom Brady. However, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his children.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Natasha Almager of Lubbock; his son Joshua Clewis Jr. of Lubbock; daughters Alleries Clewis, Zariah Clewis and Leondra Clewis all of Lubbock; his mother Lois Ford Clewis of Levelland; brothers Derek Jefferson (Erica) of Wolfforth and a twin brother Jason Clewis of Levelland; and a sister Jina (James) Tademy of Ft. Worth
