Juaquin Martinez

Juaquin R. Martinez, 67, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019 in Lubbock. Services for Mr. Martinez will be 10:00 am Friday, April 26, 2019 at Calvillo Funeral Home with Rev. Juan Calderon and Rev. Luis Martinez officiating. Services are under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 9:00pm Wednesday, April 24, 2019 and Thursday 10:00 am to 9:00 pm April 25, 2019 at Calvillo Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 pm on both days.

Juaquin was born June 26, 1951 in Brownfield to Pedro & Julia Martinez.  He was a plumber and worked in construction for many years. Apart from being a hard worker, he enjoyed watching movies and most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by three sons; Juaquin Martinez Jr., Jesse Martinez, and Robert (Dawn) Martinez all from Lubbock, two daughters; Melissa Gatica (Santos), and Diane Martinez from Lubbock, three brothers; Luis Martinez of Idalou, Juan Martinez, Paschal Martinez of Lubbock; twenty grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Julia Martinez, and a brother Pedro R. Martinez (April 19, 2019).
