Librado Mota "Lee"

Librado “Lee” Mota, 64 passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at University Medical Center. Services for Mr. Mota will 2:00 pm today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Martin Pina officiating. Burial will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.   A rosary for Mr. Mota was held 7:00 pm last night June 2, 2016 at Calvillo Funeral Home.

Librado was born September 18, 1951 in Harlingen to Hermigildo & Santos Mota.  He worked as a diesel mechanic for most of his life and enjoyed fixing things.  Always looking for a project to work on, Librado did so happily as he spent time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Angie Garza of Lubbock; three sons, Michael Lee Mota, Joe Mota, Manuel Rodriguez Mota all of Lubbock; three daughters, Julia Garza, Laureen Covarubbias, Jessica Lee Mota Campos all of Lubbock; one sister, Guadalupe Mota of Houston; ten grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Juan Antonio Mota, Jose Mota; one son, Librado Mota Jr.
