Lucia Soto

Lucia “Lucy” Soto, 66, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Lubbock.  Services will be 10:00 am Monday, March 5, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Reymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. A rosary will be held 7:00 pm Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Calvillo Funeral Home.

Lucy was born December 13, 1951 in San Antonio to Adolfo & Reyes Soto. She married Adon Rodriguez in 1985 in Lubbock. She was a homemaker and had a zest for life. She loved to drive and visit places. She was always happy, loving, and a very compassionate person. Lucy will always be remembered for her virtuous qualities.

She is survived by her husband Adon Rodriguez of Lubbock; sons George Torres of Lubbock and Richard Torres Jr. of Colorado; Daughters Ruby Rodriguez, Corina Rodriguez and Priscilla Martinez all of Lubbock.
