May 14, 1952 — February 13, 2015
Maria Rosa Garcia, 62 passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at Southern Specialty Hospital. Services for Mrs. Garcia will be 10:00 am Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel with Father Martin Pina officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 7:00pm tonight at Calvillo Funeral Home.
Maria was born May 14, 1952 in Mexico to Lorenzo and Juana Carmona. She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching Novelas and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Alma Garcia, Veronika Garcia both of Lubbock; one brother, Rafael Carmona of Lubbock; four sisters, Elsa Lopez, Consuelo De La Cruz both of Lubbock, Socorro Castillo of McAllen, Magdalena Velez of Mexico; six grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Lupe Carmona, Antonio Carmona; two brothers, Antonia Carmona, Isabel Ruiz.
