Prayer services for Maria M. Hernandez 70 of Lubbock will be today at 7 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral. Services will be on Monday at 11 AM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Morin officiating. Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.
� � � �� Maria passed away on Thursday July 4 2013 at her residence. She was born on October 16, 1942 in Colorado City, Texas to the late Feliciano and Angelita Minjarez. She married John M. Hernandez on December 28, 1961 in Lubbock. She was a housewife. She loved shopping and collecting shoes and clothes. She will be missed by her family.
Survivors include her husband John M. Hernandez of Lubbock, three sons, John Hernandez Jr, and Felix Hernandez both of Lubbock Peter Hernandez of Odessa, three daughters Angelita Hernandez and Carmen Garcia both of Lubbock, Linda Sandoval of Houston, a brother Gregorio Minjarez of Lubbock, two sisters Hortensia Gonzalez and Juanita Minjarez both of Lubbock, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
