Maria B. Puente, 89 of Lubbock passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at her residence. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.
She was born August 15, 1928 in Laredo to the late Florencio and Angelita Barron. She later married Ariesto Puente in Lubbock, he preceded her in death on June 12, 2017. She was a Catholic. Maria owned and operated “Broadway Restaurant”.
Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Gloria Bastardo of Lubbock; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
