Obituary:
Mario Moreno, 51 passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at University Medical Center. Services for Mr. Moreno will be 10:00 am Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Deacon Joe Morin officiating. Burial will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. There will be a rosary held 7:00 pm, Monday, June 3, 2013 and a visitation 7:00 pm tonight at Calvillo Funeral Home.
Mario was born June 18, 1961 in Dimmit to Noe Alfaro & Bertha Quezada Moreno. As a retired transmission mechanic, he enjoyed many arts and crafts and attending church every Sunday.
He is survived by four brothers, Gilbert Moreno of Ponder; Raul Moreno, Eloy Moreno both of Lubbock; Jose Luis Moreno of Germany, Manuel Moreno of Midland; three sisters, Olga Moreno, Cruz Vasquez, Delores Lincon all of Lubbock.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Noe Moreno(1999); two sisters, Josephine Cuevas(2004), Beatrice Moreno (1972).
