With profound sadness, the family of Mark Anthony Antu announces his passing on October 31, 2025. Born in Tahoka, Texas, on October 30, 1982, Mark was a devoted son, a loving father and grandfather, and a loyal friend to all who knew him.
Mark was known for his kind and generous spirit, his incomparable character, and the genuine warmth he extended to everyone he met. No one was ever a stranger to him — his friendly nature and welcoming heart left a lasting impression on all.
A man of many talents, Mark had a deep love for art, painting, and welding. He possessed an extraordinary eye for detail and perfection, taking great pride in every project, he touched. His craftsmanship and creativity reflected both his passion and dedication. Over the years, Mark devoted much of his career to sandblasting and most recently worked at Trinity Companies as a forklift operator, where his strong work ethic and pride in his craft were admired by all.
Mark carried his family name with pride, always making sure it was known and respected. He loved looking his best and carried himself with confidence and care — a reflection of the pride he took in every part of his life. Above all, his greatest joy came from his children, whom he loved deeply and unconditionally.
He is survived by his loving mother, Alma Manriquez; his beloved children, Alyssa Lichae Antu, Mark Anthony Antu Jr., and Abigail Marie Antu; and his cherished granddaughters, Alayah and Ameeah. He is also survived by his brothers, Jeffery Antu and Ruben Manriquez, and his sister, Destiny Manriquez. Mark will be deeply missed by his extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though his time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and legacy he leaves behind will live forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
