Naomi Morales

September 19, 1960 — August 8, 2021

Naomi H. Morales, 60 of Lubbock passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021.  Viewing, and visitation will begin Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 p.m.-8:00p.m, with a rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., the same evening at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass for Mrs. Morales will be Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church-Lubbock with Father Martin Pina officiating. Burial will follow at The City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Naomi was born September 19, 1960, in Midland, Texas to Ernest Holguin Sr. and Juanita Rubio. Later in life on November 5, 1991, she went onto marry Raul Morales in Austin cherishing thirty years of marriage. Growing up with three brothers is where Naomi discovered her love for watching sports, namely nascar racing and football, she was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She enjoyed the outdoors and liked to go camping and fishing when she could. However, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her family will always cherish the memories they have with her, and she will be greatly missed by all whom loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father Ernest Holguin Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Raul Morales of Lubbock; daughters Crystal and husband Juan Hernandez of Lubbock, Kathleen Garcia of Austin and Jessico Morales of Austin; sons Raul Morales Jr. of Austin and Cody Morales of Detroit, Michigan; her mother Juanita Rubio of Lubbock; three brothers George Holguin, Ernest Holguin Jr., and Danny Holguin all of Lubbock; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
