Nick Mendez

Rosary for Nick G. Mendez 53 of Lubbock will be today at 7 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Martin Pina officiating. Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.
Nick passed away on Friday, January 20,1017. He was born on July 1, 1963 in Lubbock to Sabas and the late Bernice Mendez. Nick was a life long resident of Lubbock. He was a Catholic. He was known to play joke on his family, he loved motor cycles, and was an all around handyman. He loved to spend time with his family.
Survivors include his Ex-wife Ester Trevino of Lubbock, his two daughters Nicky Mendez of Lubbock and Michelle Mendez of Ft. Worth, three grandchildren Arcacelie Saldana, Estrella Sanchez and Joshua Sanchez, his father Sabas A. Mendez Jr of Lubbock, two brothers Ysabel Adams and Enrique Mendez both of Lubbock, four sisters Sylvia Moreno of Lubbock, Lydia Martinez of Levelland, Sonia Roberts of Rosharon, and Rachel Serbin of New Deal
