Noehmi Saenz

Viewing and visitation for Noehmi “Mimi” G Saenz, 75 of Lubbock will be from 1:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Calvillo Funeral Chapel with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. on the same day. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Munoz officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Ms. Saenz, surrounded by her family was called to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 21, 2020. She was born on October 24, 1945 in Choate, Texas to the late Esmerhildo and Candida Saenz. Noehmi loved to attend church, she had a passion for praising to the Lord and loved the lord with all her heart. She was a caregiver who enjoyed sewing, reading, baking, and cooking. Spending time with her family, was particularly important to Noehmi, she loved having gatherings. Her granddaughters, will always be her pride and joy.

Survivors include her daughter Dora and husband Noe Medina of Lubbock; one brother, Rudy Gatica of Seguin; one sister, Fidela Hernandez of San Antonio; two granddaughters, Vanessa Medina and Arianna Medina, both of Lubbock.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Esmerhildo and Candida Saenz; three sisters Maria Escamilla, Elida Rodriguez and Kate Villanueva; two brothers Santos Saenz and Tomas Saenz.

According to local and state guidelines, facemasks will be required at all times during visitation and funeral services. Temperatures will be taken upon entering funeral home
