It is with profound sorrow and heartfelt respect that we announce the passing of Samuel Marcelo Hernandez, who was born on July 26, 2026, and died on July 28, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas. Though his time with us was brief, his spirit and memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him deeply.
Samuel Marcelo entered this world on July 26, 2026, in Lubbock, a small but precious life cherished from the very beginning. His journey was fleeting, yet his presence brought immense love and tenderness to his family.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted parents, Daniel G. and Teylor Nicole Hernandez, who embraced him with unwavering love and care.
He is also survived by his uncle’s Caydence Wallace of Lubbock, Zachary Desmarais of Arizona, Richard Hernandez of Woodrow, Charlie Hernandez Jr. of Woodrow, Eddie Hernandez of Slaton and Jacob Hernandez of Midland; his aunts; Faith Ellis of Warren Texas, Amanda Smith of Virginia, and Carol Ramirez of Lubbock; two brothers, Daniel Kai Hernandez of Lubbock and Thomas Lee Corral of Lubbock; maternal grandparents Leslie Babineau of Massachusetts and Thomas Wallace of Brownfield, Texas; paternal grandparents, Charlie Sr. and Beatris Hernandez of Woodrow, and a host of cousins
A funeral service to honor Samuel Marcelo will be held on August 6, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at San Ramon Catholic Church in Woodrow, Texas. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park, located at 87 Woodrow Rd, Lubbock, Texas 79423. Family and friends will gather at this sacred site to commemorate the brief but beautiful life of this beloved child.
Though Samuel Marcelo’s life was brief, the impact of his existence, the love he inspired, and the sorrow of his loss are deeply felt by all who knew him. The Hernandez family wishes to express their gratitude for the support and compassion extended during this profoundly difficult time.
