Obituary:
Prayer services for Susanna "Susan" Tello 51 of Tahoka will be today at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel in Lubbock. Funeral services will be on Thursday January 9, 2014 at 10 AM in Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel in Lubbock with Rev. Lauro Hernandez officiating.
Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.
Susan was born on November 13, 1962 in O'Donnell, Texas to the late Juan (August 1, 2012) and Antonia Ruiz. She was a homemaker and Pentecostal. Susan was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her boyfriend of 16 years, Joe Lara of Tahoka, two sons, Isacc Tello of Lubbock and Joseph Lara of Tahoka, two daughters Sarah Tello and Selena Tello both of Tahoka, her mother Antonia Ruiz of Lubbock, two brothers Robert Ruiz and John Ruiz both of Lubbock, three sisters Maria Escobedo of Floydada, Rosa Ysasaga of Slaton and Berta Ruiz of San Marcus, two grandchildren.
