Toribio "Victor" Barrientos

Toribio “Victor” Barrientos, 62 of O’Donnell passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022. Viewing and visitation for Mr. Barrientos will begin Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. the same day at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Tahoka. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at St. Pius X Catholic Church-O’Donnell with Father John Rathinam officiating. Father John will be assisted by Deacon Simon Resendez.  Burial will follow in O’Donnell Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. 
Victor was born August 6, 1960, in O’Donnell, Texas to the late Tony and Francis Barrientos. On October 15, 1978, he married Gloria Castro in O’Donnell, Texas. He worked for Sellers Services for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. However, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, they will always remember how Victor loved going on vacations and making memories with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents Tony and Francis Barrientos, and a brother Lee Barrientos.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Gloria Barrientos of O’Donnell; a son Victor Barrientos Jr. of O’Donnell; daughters Elisa B. Deleon (Joseph) of O’Donnell and Shelley B. Cantu (Augustine) of Tahoka; three brothers Luis Ramirez of Sinton, Raymond Barrientos of O’Donnell and Tony Barrientos of Hobbs, N.M.; a sister Francis Gonzales of Lubbock; six grandchildren Lauryn Fey Hernandez (Lional) of Tahoka, Zaydee Deleon of O’Donnell, JD Deleon of O’Donnell, Niki Cantu of Tahoka, twins Austin and Mason Cantu of Tahoka; and a great grandchild Leon Perez of Tahoka.
