Victoria Hernandez Garcia

Rosary for Victoria Hernandez Garcia 85 of Idalou will be today Sunday November 30, 2014 at 7 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Phillips Benizi Catholic Church with Father Jose Kochuparambil officiating. Burial will be in Idalou Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Victoria went to be with the  Lord on Thursday November 27, 2014. She was born on January 23, 1929 in Seguin, Texas to the late Anselmo and Paz Hernandez. She married Espiridion Garcia on November 23, 1953 in Slaton. Victoria had many hobbies she enjoyed doing such as playing bingo, cards, buying lotto tickets, dancing, spending time with her family and making sure everyone was fed before herself.

Survivors include her husband Espiridion Garcia of Idalou, her sons, Estevan Garcia, Albert Garcia and Ernie Garcia all of Idalou, Gilbert Garcia, Pete Garcia, Rudy Garcia and Danny Garcia all of Lubbock, her daughters Nina Lozano and Olga Ybarra both of Idalou, Yolanda Lozano and Nancy Flores both of Lubbock, her brothers Anselmo Hernandez, Cele Hernandez and Ruben Hernandez all of Snyder, David Hernandez of Dallas, her sisters, Martina Rojas of Seguin,Elena Lopez and Ninfa Lopez both of Snyder, Yvonne Angalina Puente of Dallas, 41 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and a great grandchild.
