Visitation for Willie Rodriguez Hernandez, 72 of Lubbock will be from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday, January 26, 2018 at Calvillo Funeral Home. A service will be held 7:00 pm Friday at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel.
Willie went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 23, 2018. He was born July 16, 1945 in Mathis Texas to the late Juan and Maria Hernandez.
Willie married Elvira Lopez in 1967 in Lubbock. He loved fishing, animals and mostly spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two grandsons, Martin Joshua Hernandez on January 31, 2017 and Christopher Perez on July 31, 2009.
He leaves behind his wife Elvira Hernandez of Lubbock; two sons, Isidro and Mona Lisa Hernandez of Lubbock, Martin and Fibi Hernandez of Lubbock; two brothers, Juan Hernandez of McAllen, Fedencio Hernandez of Ropesville; one sister, Rufina Oyervidez of Lubbock, and three grandchildren.
