Manuel Garcia

Viewing and visitation for Manuel “Hoss” Garcia, 60, of Tahoka will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 in the Chapel of Calvillo Funeral Home-Tahoka. Graveside services will begin at 11:30 a.m. on the same day Monday, January 18, 2021 at Nevels Memorial Park with Cipriano Maldonado officiating, under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

Mr. Garcia was called to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 6, 2021. He was born on November 7, 1960, in Tahoka, Texas to the late Fidel Sr. and Dominga Garcia. Later in life on February 14, 2003 he married Anita Rodriguez in Tahoka. Manuel was a farmer in the agriculture business for numerous years, a hard worker, he was passionate about his work. He enjoyed bar-b-queuing, he was a master bar-b-quer. Manuel was a good, loving husband and father. As well as a very loving grandfather, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his granddaughter Olivia.

He is preceded in death by his parents Fidel Sr. and Dominga Garcia; a sister Angie Herrera

Survivors include his wife Anita Garcia of Tahoka; a son Nick Rodriguez of Tahoka; three brothers Paul and his wife Emilia Garcia of Tahoka, Fidel Garcia Jr. of Grassland, and Joe and wife Betty Garcia of Tahoka; a sister Vera and husband Henry Ortiz of Pleasanton and a granddaughter Olivia Rodriguez of Tahoka.

According to local and state guidelines, facemasks will be required at all times during visitation and funeral services. Temperatures will be taken upon entering funeral home
