Visitation for Steven Colón, 39 of Lubbock, will begin on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 a.m. the same morning with Pastor Mike Martindale officiating at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. All arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.
Steven went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 6, 2022. He was born on January 5, 1983, in Weslaco to Christobal Sr. and Imelda Colón. On March 12, 2012, Steven went onto marry Priscilla Savedra in Lubbock. Steven, was known as a “jack of all trades and a handyman.” Not only was he a mechanic, but he also remodeled houses and always found time to help anyone in need. In his spare time, Steven enjoyed listening to music, watching television, eating snacks, and playing with his dog “Roco”. However, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Steven, will always be remembered as the best grandfather ever and the “Guardian Angel of the Family.”
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Petra G. Colón and his maternal grandmother Maria Irma Casarez.
Survivors include his loving wife Priscilla Colón of Lubbock; three daughters Desirae Colón, Alexis Colón and Shastadee Colón all of Lubbock; brothers Chris Jr. and wife Amy Colón, Gabriel Colón and Patrick Thomas Colón all of Lubbock; his parents Christobal Sr. and Imelda Colón of Lubbock; paternal grandfather Candido C. Colón of Weslaco; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
